Abstract plants

A vintage feel of a rainy and misty day. I did this painting in one go which is incredibly rare because i think about what I'm doing and the composition, etc. This painting is special in the way that it was created in a moment of inspiration. Un coup de foudre as the french would say it.

This was probably my first painting on canvas. I loved the color pink so I painted the sky pink but afterwards I didn't like it so I changed it to blue. I don't know why I remember that to this day. Also check out that really cool effect in the background.

To make the dots I actually dipped some Q-tips in metallic paint. I also really like that green - Japanese green.

Aurora Borealis

This painting was inspired by the aurora borealis, also known as the northern lights. I created the trees with a card like this 💳. Finally I put in the silhouette of the girl watching.

Yay! It's snowing! I love snow because it's just so fun. You can make a snowman or go skiing or just play outside or have a snow fight.

This painting took several tries so that when I finally got it right. I was surprised at how much it reflected what I wanted to represent because I finally nailed down what I wanted to paint in my mind.

It reminds me of the Northern Lights. I am currently reading His Dark Materials series by Philip Pullman and I feel inspired to paint some more.

First time painting an angel.

At first i just wanted to play around with the paint. And then i had an idea so i painted the grass but the idea just didn't sit well with this painting so i felt stuck. Eventually i just started drawing some lines which i thought would form a nice tree.

I received palette knifes from my great-aunt so I wanted to try them out and familiarise myself with the tools. I used them to create the abstract background for the flowers.
